Real estate is my passion, but movies are a close second. 

Before becoming a realtor, I ran a video store in Germany serving American military members. Now, I help military families and others achieve the American dream of home ownership. Still love movies, but now I hit the theater for my weekly fix. 

After 14 years and 450 homes, I remain as committed as ever. My pledge to all clients is clear: to get you the best deal with the least hassle. By listening and being patient and dedicated, I help find the home that fits you best. 

Our relationship continues after the sale closes. My clients often become close friends. We share stories about our kids, vacations and more. And, twice a year I throw parties for my clients-including a barbeque and bowling night. One day, I hope to have a boat to take clients waterskiing. 

I value my clients and they feel the same. Sixty-five percent of my business is from my past clients. It’s the ultimate compliment and greatly appreciated.  

While my real estate passion sometimes makes relaxing a bit challenging, I do make time for more than movies. My son, daughter and I love traveling-especially to amusement parks. I’m a roller coaster fanatic and, while I don’t want to rush their childhoods, I am definitely looking forward to taking my kids on the big rides!

Cosmetic Improvements >Handle Needed Repairs Early

There is a standard chain of events that occurs when an offer comes in on a home. After a meeting of the minds, the buyer often brings in a home inspector who may find a few items that need to be repaired. The real estate agent gives the homeowner a list of the requested repairs. What comes next?

In most transactions, the seller will take care of the repairs. Many sellers wait until the week before the closing to call someone to do the work, because they want to be sure that they are going to make it to the closing table before they spend money on repair work. If you are responsible for making repairs to a home you are selling, make sure you have the work done well in advance of the closing date by licensed professionals who will stand behind their work. If the work is done at the last minute and is incomplete or unsatisfactory, it could cause complications at the closing. You should provide the buyers with all the receipts and the names of the persons to contact in case there is a problem with the repairs.
